Black-Eyed Sally's Southern Kitchen & Bar is a favorite downtown landmark. Built in a historic 100-year old brick building with pressed tin walls and time-worn wood floors, it is full of Southern folk art and blues memorabilia, giving it plenty of charm. Owned and operated by the same family who has been serving and enriching the community for over 20 years, it's all about award-winning barbeque and Southern cooking in this authentic juke-joint. Here, all the meats are slow-smoked on-site over hickory and apple wood for a distinctive smokey flavor. And, it all starts with the best quality cuts of meat which are hand-trimmed and seasoned before smoking low-and-slow for maximum juiciness. To go with your meal, sip on one of the carefully chosen and frequently rotated local craft brews. And, be sure to drop by for some of the best live music around. This is Hartford's home of jazz, blues and rock. Sally's has built a reputation for outstanding food, service and live music -- no visit to Hartford is complete without a visit to Sally's. Go for the food and stay for the music today!
