Widely considered one of the most sought-after omakase experiences on the California coast, Sushi by Scratch Restaurants: Montecito is tucked inside the historic Montecito Inn and seats only about 10 guests around the sushi counter, creating an atmosphere that feels intimate, theatrical, and deeply interactive rather than formal or hushed.
