Eligibility and Enrollment
Enrollment is limited. Eligible Card Members must first add offer to Card and then use same Card for qualifying spend. Only US-issued American Express® Cards are eligible.
Limit of 5 statement credits (total of $10 back) per eligible Card Member. If the Card Account is canceled or past due, it may not qualify to receive the statement credit(s).
Qualifying Purchases
Offer valid for full-fare, pay-per-ride purchases made with your enrolled American Express Card on MBTA subways and buses, and Green Line and Mattapan Line trolleys. You must either tap your American Express Card on the Charlie card reader or tap your linked American Express Card through a device digital wallet, such as Apple Pay®, Google Pay™, or Samsung Pay®. See mbta.com/fares for more details. Excludes purchases made on all mobile apps. Excludes subway, bus, Green Line and Mattapan Line trolley tickets purchased through MBTA directly. Excludes payments for subway, bus, Green Line and Mattapan Line trolleys at kiosks and on mobile apps. If you cannot use the contactless feature on your Card or device digital wallet for the purchase for any reason, your purchase will not qualify for the offer. Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.

Statement Credit
Please allow 90-days after 12/31/2025 for the statement credit(s) to be posted to the Account, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.
